I and the other helpers would like to thank all those people who remained at Tomintoul Richmond Memorial Hall after the Remembrance Day service and contributed to the chosen charity. This was over and above the regular Poppy Day collections in our area.

Message from The Tomintoul and Glenlivet Development Trust

Thistledown was a long running publication in the Glenlivet & Inveravon area.

We are trying to gauge whether there is interest in revitalise it in a new form. If you are in the area or have an interest in getting involved, we will need a core group of at least 5 people. If you're interested please contact claire@tgdt.org.uk, anyone welcome included school children with an interest in journalism.

Thankyou to everyone that turned up to pay their respects on a chilly Sunday. It was a fantastic turn out.

Also, many thanks to everyone that organises the service and the refreshments in the hall.

And thanks to the hall for the lovely job done on the harling of the memorial.

Our fallen servicemen will continue to be remembered.
